Healing Walks
A New Path to Self-Care

Our Healing Walks are designed to help you step away from the everyday grind—literally and figuratively. These sessions offer an opportunity to leave the office behind and reconnect with yourself in the calming embrace of nature.

Why walking?
Walking in natural surroundings has been shown to significantly reduce cortisol, the stress hormone. Whether it’s a reaction to a major life event or the constant, subtle pressure of daily responsibilities, stress can take a toll on our mental health. Elevated stress levels are closely linked with anxiety and depression.

Why nature?
Spending time in green spaces and natural light boosts the production of serotonin and endorphins—our body’s natural mood-lifters. These “feel-good” hormones help us stay balanced, build emotional resilience, and promote a sense of well-being.

Nature also helps us unplug from constant stimulation, restoring our ability to focus and think clearly. Many people find that taking a “nature brain break” not only clears mental clutter but also sparks creativity and insight. Problems often begin to untangle themselves when we give the brain space to breathe.

What to expect
These walks are individually tailored to you. Rest assured—this isn’t a hike or a fitness challenge (unless you want it to be!). It’s a relaxed, supportive experience.

Along the way, you’ll also learn more about how your brain works. We’ll explore fascinating neuroscience—like how the amygdala, hippocampus, and hypothalamus influence your emotions and behavior—in a way that’s simple, relatable, and empowering.

You’ll gain insight into why you do what you do and how to shift from “survival mode” into “thriving mode.” We’ll also dive into the science of Shinrin-yoku (Forest Bathing) and the role of phytoncides—natural plant compounds that may help strengthen your immune system.

Walk solo or bring a friend
This is a new, relaxed approach to self-care. If you’d feel more comfortable walking with a friend—or even a small group (up to 5 people)—you’re more than welcome to do so.

“Invest in your wellbeing for just £20 — and bring a friend along for only £10. Share the experience and it’s just £15 each — a small step towards a more balanced you.”
